Awww, insmallpackages just announced that this past round was the last one. :( :( :(

Yes, there's still fandom_stocking, but it's not the same. fandom_stocking presents are Just For [Recipient], or so it feels to me. insmallpackages presents are for Everybody, unless the wisher specifically says 'no u cannot has' (and really that only seems to matter with icons). It has to do with the difference between posting presents to individual stockings that nobody sees until reveals and posting presents to a single public post that everyone is tracking.

I wonder how hard it would be to mod a similar-to-insmallpackages thing on Dreamwidth. I expect the answer is "no, Conall, you have work scarybusytime in the second half of December and fall finals in the first half"...

Shouldn't be *terribly* difficult to mod, but I'd recommend a mod team spread across a bunch of time zones. That part makes things immeasurably easier if something goes BOOM whilst you're asleep. :p

Hmmm, would you maintain it as a holiday season fest? If not it may be easier to pick a better season for you. But I suppose that around the hols are when folks are feeling extra giving, so I can see how that might not happen.
