just been to see Once Upon a Mattress at the community theater
...shipping the hell out of Winnifred/Larkin. SHOW OF HANDS WHO'S SURPRISED.
Dauntless is a whiny manbaby but the actor playing him in this production (previously seen as Horton in Seussical) really knows how to get audience sympathy.
Harry's just an ass. What on earth does Larkin see in him? ...okay, the actor and thus character is pretty cute (for a guy), but still.
Kinda annoyed that Winnifred had nothing to do with either breaking the curse on the king (like she said she would) or passing the test (when in the original Princess and the Pea, the young lady's poker face was a vital part of the plan).
