Magic schooling that makes sense, part 1: introductory-level students are required to learn to cook. Because magical strength comes from personal energy, and an ill-fed witch is therefore not much of a witch. Also because cooking trains people in the properties of common herbs and such and in the skills for combining same in useful manners.

I think I just baked them not quite long enough, and also--and this is probably an occupational hazard of making cinnamon buns--a bunch of the filling stuck to the pan instead of staying inside the rolls.
