Hey so in the unlikely but not impossible event that somebody has sixty bucks and wants to make me very happy: Pampered Chef manual food processor. The Unitarian Universalists of Central Delaware were doing a fundraiser after the service today, there was a jewelry table and a Pampered Chef table, a portion of proceeds to UUCD, and I fell positively in love with this food processor but did I mention sixty bucks (counting shipping).
The Pampered Chef event for the benefit of UUCD is continuing through Wed Dec 14. So if someone wants to buy me the food processor for Giftmas and support UUCD while they're at it, drop me an email, alexseanchai at gmail, and I will give you the Pampered Chef lady's email so you can make sure the sale is part of the UUCD event.
(And if nobody goes for this, fine, I just won't make veggie-infused meatballs till I have managed to buy myself the food processor. Not exactly a catastrophe. They're just really tasty meatballs, is all.)

If this isn't a welcome tangent, let me know, but -- I've literally never heard of Unitarian Universalis...m(?) before now? And there's a church in the city where I've lived for most of my life?

The way I did the veggie meatballs last time, they were fantastic, but I did not write the things down. It involved putting baby spinach and carrots in a food processor to within an inch of their life, and adding eggs and extra bread crumbs to the meat along with the veggies to ensure holding-together-ness, and was otherwise my grandmother's recipe.
Unitarian Universalism, yes. uua.org is a much better resource than I am.
