so guess who just discovered that Windows 10 doesn't have Windows Movie Maker or any other such thing built in?

anyone got Win10-compatible suggestions for video editing programs? ideally free or very cheap, and, you know, functional?

I use OpenShot on Linux for my kitty-video-editing. I am a total newb to video editing, and sometimes I yell because I don't know how to do the thing I think I should be able to do easily in my head, but it's worked well so far?
