The tension's kind of fucked, especially in the first couple rows where I (with knitting book open on lap) was trying to remember how a knit stitch works. And my hands hurt. And the knitted bit is only about an inch square and those needles are toothpicks (no fuckin' wonder my hands hurt). But it looks pretty!
