cold brew coffee has resumed

gluh. do I want to get rid of the half bag of medium-dark-roast whole coffee beans, or do I want to mix it with the light roast at a dark:light ratio of something nontrivially lower than 1:1 until I run out of the medium-dark stuff? because mixing the medium-dark half and half with the light still results in coffee that is absurdly bitter even when then mixed with more than the quantity of milk and a whole bunch of dark chocolate syrup!

About how much coffee is that by weight? If there's hardly any, probably toss it. If there's tons and tons of coffee because you buy in bulk, probably see if you can freecycle it or pass it to a neighbor (or an internet friend - my mother goes through coffee like you wouldn't believe, and likes it dark!).

Either way, your body is not a trash can. If you don't like the coffee, get rid of it.

You're not going to noticeably hasten the world's environmental issues by refusing to gag down eight ounces of unpalatable coffee. See if you can pass it to a neighbor, and if not, toss it in the compost.

This is a good, low-spoons option.

Probably a 12oz bag instead of a 16oz. Most of them are these days.

I was gonna offer the salt tip, but somebody said it already. Salt mutes bitter flavors.
