attn: people who want more happy Jewish people | characters out there
Given...Recent Events...I think a lot of y'all Jewish folks could use a few smiles right now. So here's what I'm doing, by way of supporting your community from outside.
If you're Jewish:
Drop me a character (Jewish or otherwise) who you want to see happy. You can comment here or email me at alexconall@gmail.com. Please specify the canon the character is from, unless you're prompting for an original character along the lines of Original Works Exchange (tag set). (I reserve the right to ask for a do-over if you name a canon character I am unfamiliar with.) Add a short prompt if you like.
If you're not Jewish:
Same rules except the character does have to be Jewish, please. I am okay with headcanoning somebody Jewish if their religious beliefs aren't specified in canon. (I'm also not policing who is and isn't Jewish. Not my business. I do hope, however, that in keeping with the spirit of this thing, non-Jewish people will not prompt for non-Jewish people.)
And I will, over the next several days, write you a couple hundred words of happy character, and stick it on AO3. Hopefully that results in happy readers? :)

BTW, if you don't watch anything in this 'verse, it has lots of queer rep. Arrow itself is down to one gay black man, but has had up to 3 queer people at a time. Its sibling show, Legends of Tomorrow, is currently at 4 series regulars. Sara, Ava, John Constantine, and Gary has at least been getting up to things with Constantine. Supergirl, on which Supergirl's adopted sister is queer, has just added a trans woman (played by a trans actress). And they're about to add Bat Woman, with lesbian Kate Kane.
Not actually gonna recommend you watch any of it, because there're too many shows and crossover events and it's a mess. The only one you might possibly enjoy catching up on is Supergirl, which has too much awkward in the first season but improves. The musical episode is fun, even if you don't want to watch the rest of it, and has characters who are normally straight as a biracial gay couple. It is a crossover with The Flash, but you don't necessarily have to watch Flash to watch that.

I don't know her either, though. :(
