I got nailed with the insufficient funds fee not twice but four times. Two of them today, and I deposited six hundred dollars today. What the ever-loving fuck.

Banks are worse than this?

I suppose I didn't really have other plans for that $140...

And now the one credit card company isn't letting me add a new payment account without the security word I've gone and forgotten. Lovely. The others are not giving me this trouble.

Why not? Credit unions aren't all morally upstanding - any more than all banks are evil. This is why you need to look deeply into corporate practices and t&cs before opening an account: because there's too little regulation of those grim practices over there.

I don't know anybody in Occupy Thistown, though, and the only time I have to go sit with them is after work (when it's dark and cold) and weekends (when I have other things needing done, and also it's cold). And the sad part is? Part of the impetus to switch from Big Bank to Little Credit Union was Occupy. (Other part was Mom's joint on the Big Bank account and kept asking awkward questions about where my money goes.)
