I got nailed with the insufficient funds fee not twice but four times. Two of them today, and I deposited six hundred dollars today. What the ever-loving fuck.

Banks are worse than this?

I suppose I didn't really have other plans for that $140...

And now the one credit card company isn't letting me add a new payment account without the security word I've gone and forgotten. Lovely. The others are not giving me this trouble.

And yet the banks act shocked when people protest them and their sharp practices.

I'd consider at least trying to get some of the fees waived. Doesn't cost you anything to try , and that's an extraordinary fee to pay when you fixed the problem pretty much immediately. Many of the larger banks would do it, and a credit union in theory should have better service.

Those extra two fees? Probably for the fees they charged you which your funds couldn't cover.
