Why are postcards so hard to come by? Post office didn't have any. Walmart didn't have any. Guess I'm buying some off Amazon.

The post office didn't have any? Did you try asking at the counter? They weren't pretty, but I bought some pre-stamped ones for USPTO paperwork at the end of 2011 that way.
