Written for [livejournal.com profile] writerverse's Challenge 40 amnesty on Challenge 2, writing from the perspective of a villain (warning for racism and mention of suicide):

Leah Driscoll is reputed to be a devout woman. God Himself ordered the nephilim to die! If she were truly as devout as she's claimed to be, she would let Ambriel kill her, or she would kill herself! Why is she so hell-bent on living?

Her sisters, Rebecca and Rachel. Neither believes. Neither believes in God. They seem to believe in, what's her name, one of the black spirit people that think they're gods. Damned inconvenient, those spirit people, whatever the pantheon—their powers might be on par with lesser angels, but they are not gods, whatever anyone thinks about them—we'll have to do something about them. Later. I have no commands about the spirit people. I have standing orders to ensure that the nephilim die, and Rebecca and Rachel will be difficult to convince that the best thing for everyone is if they do die.

Perhaps their eldest sister, Sarah. Not a nephil, but if her sisters can be persuaded that it's in her best interest that she be an only child...
