HULU IS GONNA HAVE SAILORMOON STARTING MONDAY

INCLUDING THE STARS SEASON

I am having feels about my first fandom again and it has been easily a decade since I consumed any canon

also Hulu Plus (well, Hulu some, but mostly Hulu Plus) has Pokémon

I really should not spend eight dollars a month just for Pokémon

also Hulu has Yu-Gi-Oh! why did nobody tell me this before I bought the DVDs but they also have the sequel series maybe I'll actually get around to watching those (hahahaha no)

ETA: Sailormoon is also coming to DVD and Blu-ray! And it's UNCUT! We get genderbenders and lesbians and ALL THE SHINY THINGS the original US dub got rid of!

WHAT REALLY??? I have been waiting like TWO YEARS OR SOMETHING for Sailor Moon to be somewhere viewable online!!

(Mostly because I have a Thing for Mamoru/Usagi but most of this is based on fic and the few (seemingly always the same few - I think I only ever managed to watch DBZ and Inuyasha pretty much consecutively on CN) episodes I managed to catch on Cartoon Network like a decade+ ago.)

YGO does not have subtitles on Hulu. I don't think it has the original Japanese available, either. (I've checked. For reasons of you and sylvaine.)

I kind of figured the Hulu version of YGO was the US dub exclusively. Copyright reasons. But still.

Well, a lot of the anime I've poked at there have subs at least, and many have the original available too. So when one doesn't, it's quite frustrating!

I know I saw the prices somewhere and I think I will at least give it a go. I loved Sailor Moon so much growing up, and that love is not gone, but I don't know if I need to see this remake as much as I am glad that it exists. It's a complicated feeling.
