Your final project asks you to choose a topic within Queer Studies, engage in research around this topic, and create a project that you can implement outside of this classroom. For instance, you might decide to create a podcast about LGBTQ issues, design a workshop for a campus or off-campus event, or write a song about an historical event. It can be anything you would like to do, as long as it focuses remains within Queer Studies. The purpose of this assignment is for you to apply classroom learning to a context outside of this class. This assignment asks you to focus on a particular audience, for a particular purpose, and within a clear context of production.
This is literally all the guidance we have on this project. Gaaah.
I have emailed the prof to ask if a short story would qualify.
ETA: Yeah um "I'll post more details in the next few days" does not really constitute an answer to the question.

More like a drabble, really, and usually with a chorus, but yeah, something like that.

I saw that, and I don't know if it helps or not. (Seanan McGuire will read my story if I submit it. That's really scary. What if she doesn't like it? What if she does?) And if a short story won't suffice for the portfolio, it's--not quite a moot point, because I have to write a short story for creative writing class anyway, but I have words on that story already and it's emphatically fantasy. Which isn't to say I won't change my mind and write sci-fi, but. And I'm babbling, I'll shut up.

Shrug. I suppose I have to wait for the more details.
Project
Ask the people willing to PM you using a DW id, and mention their gender and orientation, then /request some part of the story.
Compare the requests from the major categories, and see if you have enough data to suggest preferences within groups and compare between them.
In the meantime, the story progresses as both entertainment and bait for more responses.

No, this set of classmates hasn't slipped once. The other three classes all have. Not this one.
