Do I know anyone with any familiarity with ancient Greek? Because I know the name 'Alexander' and by extension 'Alexandria' comes from Greek for 'defender of men'. I'm trying to figure out 'defender of women'. 'Alexagyneia'?
...not quite as trippingly off the tongue, is it?
(Please, world, do not make me ask my brother. He knows ancient Greek but he might ask why I want to know this.)

Alalkomeneis is protectress, and all the words that are constructs with "of women" seem to start with gynalko (the genitive form), so if you want protectress of women, you get gynalkoalalkomeneis. Serious mouthful. No idea how to condense that into a name.

Not so much needing the name, really? Just a sense of how to say the phrase. I dunno if I can explain right now. Major work stress plus headache.
