Do I know anyone with any familiarity with ancient Greek? Because I know the name 'Alexander' and by extension 'Alexandria' comes from Greek for 'defender of men'. I'm trying to figure out 'defender of women'. 'Alexagyneia'?
...not quite as trippingly off the tongue, is it?
(Please, world, do not make me ask my brother. He knows ancient Greek but he might ask why I want to know this.)
