I wrote 765 on the ambush project and I think *crosses fingers* that I might ALMOST be clear of the last of the angst and headed into the denouement, which I guess I'd better figure out. ;-)

Something like 400 words today, the first 250 or so of which I'm not super thrilled with; we'll see. The second bit came out much better, as well as much more relevant to the point in the story I'm at now as opposed to years down the road. I need to fill in a few things between yesterday's work and today's, but that's doable.

I managed to convince myself where the start of a story that had been cursor-blinking was, and something useful about a character in it, and so now we're off to the races.

Oops, forgot to check in yesterday. But I wrote, adding a couple of sentences to the Alibi Sentence Story. I did the same thing today.

Writing a story this way is an unexpected but interesting experiment! I'm still not sure where the story is going, but it's expanding in odd ways, and starting to edge from slightly odd to magical realism weird. Which makes me happy.

There were a lot of words (874 to be precise) on that surprise story which ambushed me a few days back.
