I know I said I wasn't gonna buy my new monitor for another week or two yet, but there was a limited-time $40-off offer... (really, what's a girl to do?) So anyway, looka my new shiny!

Be nice if this monitor knew it's a widescreen, though. Apparently the optimal resolution on this is 1440x990 or some such thing, but putting it on said resolution requires following instructions that don't work on Ubuntu.
Next on the Improve Ellie's Computer list: giving it more than 500MB RAM.
