Nov. 13th, 2012 12:10 amAdded another seven hundred words to the fic I started yesterday. It's like pulling teeth but at least the words are coming, right?
Of course half today's problem was I'm trying to keep the AU's changes from canon minimal for a while, and given that my AU breakpoint is in Lucifer Rising, that meant Becky. I have problems with Becky. The problems are muted somewhat now that we have Charlie Bradbury, assuming Charlie is in fact fannish, not simply geeky. And if ghost-actress girl in the convention episode had only said she was there because she was a Supernatural fan herself, I would have a lot fewer problems with Becky. As a representation of the batshit flavor of media fan, she's note-perfect; as the only representation of female media fandom until Charlie's arrival, Becky, how to say this, leaves something to be desired. But I really did not want to deal with Becky. Finally gave her two sentences and hopefully I'm done with her now.
Tomorrow, probably after work, I get to start with Bobby, and I don't have to be quite as subtle as I've been.
