First, a bit about what I like: Ladies being awesome. Bechdel passing. People of color being awesome. Queer people being awesome. Trans and nonbinary characters being awesome. Femslash, het, slash, poly, gen. Porn, pornless shippy fic, gen. (Obviously I am not asking you to provide all my likes at once.) Competence kink. Nonperfect people having nonperfect relationships (whether familial, platonic, romantic, or sexual) but all parties are good people trying to make the relationship work as best they know how. Ordinary people caught in extraordinary events. Worldbuilding! If you're leaning porny: bondage, body modification, endurance, nipple play (okay, really breast play, but kink_wiki doesn't have a tag for that), sensation play, temperature play, impact play with the emphasis on play, toys toys toys, soft sensuous things, and writing. And if you're leaning porny but not sure who to lean porny with, I like femslash best.

Things I dislike: Underage. Non-con. Anything sexy involving eating or excreting (though if you want to write food porn in the sense of conveying what a tasty meal the characters are having, go to town). Disrespectful treatment of [insert marginalized group here]. Cross-generational sexual and/or romantic relationships, though if an involved character does not, in my head, have an age, then it won't bother me as long as all the involved characters are clearly adult. I can't really explain any better than that; this makes about as much sense to me as it does to you. Sorry about that. (For purposes related to this request, fae stop having an age once they hit maturity.)

Canon seems to like the 'he kisses her while she's unconscious' thing; this falls under 'non-con'. Though if you want to write a story where Usagi finds out about that and has a fit, that would be excellent. I'm also up for sweet fluffy romance; up to you whether it's set in the Moon Kingdom or in modern Japan.

I requested Any Character. Please do not try to cram all these characters into one fic, unless you're writing a novel-length. I would adore a novel-length fanfic but I'm not going to insist you write one. I'm also not looking for any particular fic; I have included prompts for every character, but if I haven't hit on the combination you offered, feel free to come up with your own idea. I'd rather something cheerful and fluffy, but I like the tone of canon too, and canon is rarely either cheerful or fluffy.

Something showing echoes from Amandine to Toby (and May? and August? I realize August was not nommed) to Gillian would be excellent. So would something exploring the relationships between January and Li Qin and April, possibly with a side of Sylvester. Or something where Gillian meets the Luidaeg. Or May/Jazz and the whole thing where they're both death omens. Or Bridget and Chelsea and Etienne learning to be a family. Or Quentin and/or Raj making trouble for Toby, Tybalt, and/or Sylvester. Or Quentin and Raj getting to be friends with Chelsea. Or an AU where Gillian and Chelsea are besties and/or a couple. Or Amandine/Simon and what they loved about each other, and if you want to bring Sylvester and/or August Torquill in that'd be excellent. (I realize August was not nommed.) Or Arden being so much better a Queen than her predecessor, and how frightening that is. Or Dianda asking something of the Luidaeg, perhaps relating to Dianda's Roane or Selkie subjects. Or how Lily knew Amandine. Or Karen exploring her powers (possibly with a side of accidentally getting into Gillian's dreams and confusing poor Gillian to death). Or Toby and Tybalt getting married and subsequent sexytimes, or Toby and Tybalt pointing out hot guys to each other in a "if I didn't have you, I would totally fantasize about him" fashion. Be advised that if you're writing "In This Sea" you probably want to be familiar with the October Daye books, because 'Liz' in the song is apparently Elizabeth from One Salt Sea and "In Sea-Salt Tears". If you've read those you can probably guess the singer's identity (hint: she's nominated under October Daye Series, and I point you at my prompts for her above), and if not I won't spoil you.

"Earthquake Weather" is a song about stories. I don't know a lot of the stories McGuire's referencing. Tell me those stories, or tell me new versions of those stories. Or write a story about authors (or songwriters or storytellers) and "guard your eggshell heart" and reference the rest of the lyrics here and there and I'll be happy.

"Follow Me Down" seems to me to be a song about destiny and vicious cycles. Break the cycle. Show the consequences of the breaking but also what's gained by the freedom.

Trans_ and the Internet anthology

This anthology has an open call for submissions. More submission information. They're particularly looking for trans women, trans feminine people, and people of any gender who are also marginalized in some other way (this is the second call for submissions, and this time round they're emphasizing diversity in contributors), but they're accepting for consideration all submissions from trans people. 150-word proposals (or entire papers if you've got them) are due by Dec 1, the final essay should be 500-2500 words and is due by Apr 1, they require a 50-75-word bio, and they plan to print this in the spring of 2016.
