Jul. 5th, 2015 02:43 pmOkay so I'm looking at the accommodations on Skyline Drive. "The absence of in-room phones and internet access only adds to the total tranquility." YEAH NO not staying in Lewis Mountain Cabins!
Big Meadows Lodge and Skyland Resort remain options, as do any of assorted hotels outside Shenandoah proper. For values of "options" that include "I cannot actually afford to spend $130/night for a week on pretty much place-to-sleep alone"! I suppose this is why family trips to Shenandoah invariably involve Big Meadows Campground, at $20/night...but I so hella do not want to go camping.
