Jul. 31st, 2015 12:55 pmCalled blood bank, scheduled donation for tomorrow. Called oral surgeon (again), am informed they don't take my insurance. Called dental insurance, am informed they don't pay anything for out of network providers, here's an in network provider. Called dentist to switch referral, got voicemail, left message: that call will be returned in the next five minutes or not till Monday (because it's Friday so the dental office closes at one, and it's five of), and my money's on Monday.

Jul. 31st, 2015 07:37 pmNo, brain, I am quite happy with this story being 9k long. I do not WANT to add enough background and characterization to make it 20k. Which it will be at least, if brain gets its way.
Not to mention if actualfax editor gets hers! Because she thinks this part belongs 3/4 through the total narrative...

(this thing where donating blood requires no NSAIDs for 24h beforehand? ugh.) cross your fingers that they don't hurt when I wake up, y'all, because if they hurt then like hell am I doing overtime tomorrow. (we are still in mandatory overtime but the mandatory part is two Saturdays of the four Saturdays previously listed and I worked the past two Saturdays so tomorrow is voluntary for me.) and I need the money but I think I am going to need to rest my hands more.
...by which I probably mean format the story that's done-and-edited for Kindle and Smashwords and [attempt to] rewrite the story that needs editing, but I promise you that's restful compared to work.
