* got Dr. Psych to fill out the disability documentation paperwork
* did the first read-through for An Evening with Poe, of a poem I've never seen nor heard of before, and didn't do half bad
* did twelve of Them Fuckers at work (ten's an impressive number)
* successfully avoided signing up for femslashex, thus remaining in obedience of the Alex Is Not Allowed To Do Fic Exchanges (Except Maybe Yuletide) rule
* I ain't saying this one outside lock because I don't want to jinx it, but it's a doozy

and my hands don't even hurt all that bad. nor have they at any point today.

and naturally I am wide fucking awake. it is one am. I need to be at work at eleven, because schedule fuckery. :(

...from a strictly internal-story-logic perspective, is there any reason "Athena is a trans woman" wouldn't work? I mean, there's the whole "Zeus's son by Metis will overthrow Zeus" prophecy deal, and it's a lil bit difficult to tell a trans girl infant from a cis boy infant. But that same prophecy says Zeus's son by Metis is Zeus's second child by Metis, the first child being a daughter. So is it plausible that the Olympians are sufficiently trans-accepting (and prophecy-believing) to just roll with "okay, this kid's a girl" even though she looks like she ought to be assigned male?

I am not sure whether to spend this weekend trying to pack and clean and whatnot while Internet vacationing or trying to pack and clean and whatnot while liveblogging. The latter is the approach I have been taking, because it's hard to inventory my stuff on LibraryThing and Google Drive without being online, but chaos continues to surround me so obviously that plan isn't working. That said, Internet vacation for one day, never mind three, is not a plan with a high chance of working either...especially if I up the difficulty level like I said on alexkharites I'm tempted to do...

And that said, I have literally been refreshing my reading pages for an hour and a half. Which is not productive, or particularly enjoyable, and didn't even give me very much to read because apparently people have more interesting things to do tonight than Dreamwidth, and I could have finished the latest Seanan McGuire in that time if I'd only started it instead!
