My laptop is totally nonresponsive. I think it's off? It's not supposed to be off. It's plugged in, so while the battery being dead is plausible, it seems unlikely to be the problem because there's a power source right there. Power button is doing nothing.

ETA: I have no clue what just happened, but I was doing something else entirely when the laptop made its "bored now, sleep time" beep. I went over and hit the power button and it beeped again and woke up.
