WELL DUCKDUCKGO YOU'RE NO FUCKING HELP. The only site from the top (oh) fifty search results that looks helpful, suburbanbanshee dot net, Firefox is classing as an attack site! Yeah, not going there after all...

So I ask all y'all. Other than the limerick, which I could try here but don't want to because of the form's intense association with (esp. bawdy) humor that is inappropriate for this project, are there any poetic forms that originated in Ireland?

(I don't understand why my searching is coming up empty. Irish poetry is a long tradition. Surely Ireland produced more than one poetic form!)

ETA: holy Euterpe the Irish poetic tradition does not fuck around (I'm doomed)
