my new least favorite Google nonsense: if I want to be notified by email about a calendar event I'm creating, I have to create or edit the event through the Google Calendar app. creating the event through the website, the only notification style available to me is mobile push notification slash yank my whole laptop Firefox to the Google Calendar tab without leaving me a record of the notification's existence that persists after I've acknowledged the notification.

my other recent least favorite Google nonsense: the point of not having the YouTube app installed on my mobile devices is so I can compel YouTube videos to play in Firefox, where uBlock Origin and Ghostery are able to block the fucking ads. this used to work. this does not work anymore.
