HR 358 passed the House.
No need to panic just yet, the Senate's still Democratic and the President has promised to veto the bill, but HR 358 passed the House.
This is, in case you didn't know, the bill that would allow health care entities to deny women abortions even at the cost of the woman's life. Also the bill that would deny federal funding to insurance plans that cover abortion, while compelling any insurance provider who covers abortion to provide identical plans (permitted federal funding) that don't cover abortion.
My uterus. Mine. Not the property of any of the douches in the House who voted to pass this bill. Not the property of any child of mine, born or unborn. Not property at all. Part of my body. Part of me. No one gets a say on what I do with me except me. Why is this so hard for people to understand?
