May. 16th, 2012 02:07 pmAdvisor meeting happened. I have more requirements filled than I thought I had. Including, disappointingly, the humanities req and the one-from-any-of-these-four-sections-including-humanities req, which means I no longer have an excuse to take Communication and Culture in Cyberspace. On the other hand, I don't have to tell my employer I already have that req filled, do I...
Speech and second writing in particular are already filled, because the advisor overrode the system to make sure that my Tech Writing and Oral Comm classes would fill those reqs even though they don't map precisely to courses that fill those reqs. (Or even if they do map precisely and the system's just stupid.)
So for courses I still need to take, I'm looking at fitness, cultural diversity, literature and the arts (Music Appreciation: Broadway musicals!), bio sci, bio/phys sci (read: phys sci), difference-power-and-discrimination, contemporary global issues, science-technology-and-society, non-Western liberal arts, something science (Sustainability for the Common Good is under geology so it counts; sadly it is full this term), statistics, and a fuckton of economics seasoned with poli-sci and possibly philosophy depending on if I take Deductive Logic.
Next thing that needs to happen: advisor meeting with economics major advisor. Emailed her already.
