"Introduce yourself to me and your classmates by sharing an experience you have had with the natural world."
Uh, there was the time I came home from a Girl Scout camping trip with a tick? Or there was the work party at the state park where I mostly stayed in a corner of the pavilion and read my book? I don't do nature. I'm in this course because I have reason to be concerned about the environment. Nature can stay well away from me, thanks.
That seems unwise to say to the class, though.
