I have twenty dollars of Amazon money, but that's only about half of one of the books I want for researching the Japanese queer experience of ten to fifteen years ago. (Well, half of some of them. The book that's $115 in the cheapest used edition, not so much.) (I may be overthinking my ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
queer_bigbang?) And even with an Amazon wishlist a mile long, I can't think what else I want to buy right now. And then of course there's the factor that whatever I buy won't show up for days, by which time I bloody well better have calmed down...why can't I just go read the Queer Japan book I already bought, because that showed up yesterday. But apparently I am in too much of a temper to do anything more productive than bake fucking cookies that I nearly fucking burnt.

Mar. 1st, 2014 06:25 pmHit me with fic recs. ALL the fic recs. Because Yu-Gi-Oh! is too big for Not Prime Time which tells me there's got to be a lot more good fic out there than I've found thus far.
I have no particular interest in AUs of the 'plop these characters in a different setting' nature, and the only m/m pairing that holds any interest to me is Yuugi/Yami Yuugi. That said, if you know of a stellar coffeeshop AU or Pern AU or what have you, or a stellar m/m fic that isn't Yuugi/Yami Yuugi, I'll trust your judgment. I'd rather the canon-compliant or canon-divergent AUs and the gen, het, and femslash, but really just give me good fic.
