fuck phones, but having finally got up the nerve to make this phone call, glad I did

OH THANK FUCK. It's not that my insurance isn't going to cover the bloodwork, it's that my doctor put it in as 'routine' instead of 'diagnosis' or some such thing and therefore the billing codes are wrong for the insurance to cover it. I just have to call my doctor.

Which probably actually means go bug my doctor's office in person, because fuck phones.
