WATCH ALL THE BUFFY: 1x01

Gee, that isn't a creepy library at all.
Okay, this is Joss Whedon's attempt at a live-action magical-girl anime, I get that, but seriously? One girl, who is sixteen years old, is the only line of defense against the things that go bump in the night? That seems highly unethical, and also badly planned, of the people who think it is a bad thing for the mundane population to all get eaten by the things that go bump in the night. At least on Supernatural hunters are (mostly—Mary Campbell, and Krissy and companions, excepted) grown-ass adults, and they usually have buddies.
I got distracted at about 26:30 and now that the distraction has passed I am not feeling the love enough to watch the last third of the ep. I am reliably informed that season one is not the greatest of the show, but...I think I'll come back to this later? Because it has been more than fifteen minutes since the distraction passed.
