Please permit me to register my displeasure that all the official Bernie 2016 merchandise is generic. I want an "LGBT for Sanders" sticker and there isn't one.

To be fair, Hillary hasn't got any "LGBT for Clinton" anything in her official merchandise, either. I checked. That said, there are exactly two things keeping me from buying an A Woman's Place is in the White House pillow, and they are that I do not wish to contribute to her campaign and that I do not have money for the thing. (esp since I am apparently in need of two $26 wrist braces and one $30+ ergonomic keyboard)

Apparently I have now donated a full gallon of blood in my lifetime. I know this because I just went out to the mailbox and sitting therein was a certificate from the blood bank saying so.

I am giving serious thought to framing that certificate. Meanwhile, the fact that it exists amuses the hell out of me, for reasons I can't pin down.

Signed up for PAC 294 Yoga I for the fall. No piddling little one-credit course is going to beat me, carpal tunnel or otherwise. This puts me at thirteen credits for the term.

Advisor informs me that my winter 2016 plans aren't, because the 400-level courses are every other year. Therefore, new plans:

ASL 112 American Sign Language (4)
QS 462 Queer Theories (3)
WGSS 270 Violence Against Women (3)
WGSS 416 Theories of Feminism (4)

And if I get ambitious, PAC 294 can be taken up to eleven times for credit.

First day of wrist braces. Put them on at four. It is now past eight. I have, once lunch hour is up and the braces go back on, another three and a half hours to go—and it is probably advisable to wear the accursed things during all computer work, including at home, and maybe also sleep.

I may cry.

I can't type nearly as fast or accurately. I can't put my headphones on right. I can't take thirty seconds between work bits to email a thought to a friend, because it won't just be thirty seconds. I can barely drink my soda without spilling. This is all the braces' fault.

But I can feel the difference in my wrists already. I mean, I have probably undone it all by taking the braces off for an hour to eat (but how else I was to eat I dunno), but.

So tossing the braces is a bad idea but wearing them is verging on intolerable.

Yep. Probably gonna cry.
