mead adventures: SUCCESS. even though I went two days too long without the initial taste test! It is distinctly alcoholic-tasting but not at all overwhelmingly so, and I can definitely still taste the honey sweetness, and it's LOVELY.

...tell me not to drink a whole pint jar of mead in one sitting? (Not for now. For tonight.)

also, honey is a good libation to the Mousai (the Muses, if you are unfamiliar with the less Latinized transliteration) and "write drunk, edit sober" and I bet mead will be a great libation to the Mousai. I wonder how much I can write tonight? :-D

For reasons I require that Tumblr post explaining how respect-as-a-person and respect-as-an-authority differ, and how some people say "If you don't respect me I won't respect you" and mean "If you don't treat me as an authority I won't treat you as a person". I cannot remember where I saw that screencap or whether the cap had attribution. The thing I really need is the attribution, but having the exact text as well as the attribution would be better, and having a link to the original post would be best.

So I am taking the AAA online defensive driving refresher course.

INSECURITY THEATER, y'all. They emailed me the plaintext of the password they initially assigned me. They asked the most loltastic security questions (How many cities have you lived in? What's your favorite sport?), with dropdown answers to choose from, and then they emailed me my answers. I changed my password to one I use many places and they displayed the plaintext of my password which now I suppose I should change in all the places.

I am gonna write them the most infuriated email.
