nts: don't attempt to ground and center while driving. aside from it not working, it divides focus and that is never good when driving.

nobody hit anybody today, which, given that today involved (1) a car running a stop sign while I was in the intersection (2) a pedestrian stepping into the road when my car was at most ten feet from them, seems like a fucking miracle to me. but that latter is why I tried to ground and center while controlling a moving vehicle. an anxiety attack behind the wheel wasn't gonna do anybody any good either, and I was fifteen minutes' drive from home still. (the former, I was two blocks from work, so I parked and then grounded and centered.)

I know damn well this (afaict) white guy did not originate this wisecrack, because that's just not how punch-up racism comedy works. Problem is, I don't know who did say this first. Dude. If that's what causes gayness, and you don't want gayness (I mean, it's Faux News, of course the guy doesn't want gayness), work to eliminate child abuse. I am all for the elimination of child abuse. I don't care what your motives are as long as you get results!

Just, y'know, be clear that imposing expectations on children regarding their conformity to heterocispatriarchal norms is verging on child abuse, and punishing children for failing to live up to those expectations definitely is child abuse.
