executive dysfunction bluuuues
Sep. 11th, 2015 07:18 pmTonight I need to set up my new smartphone* and PACK. That is basically the to-do list for the weekend: get smartphone talk-and-text-capable and get my shit in boxes. Also possibly get the boxes stacked neatly somewhere such that my computer desk has a path upstairs: as presently arranged, Basement Box Mountain is in the way of the desk getting to the stairs.
I am stuck on "I need to make sure Internet works at the apartment on get-the-keys day". I cannot seem to move past that to any other task—without a push, anyway, Mom told me to make dinner and that worked for getting dinner made. I cannot accomplish the Internet task for reasons previously discussed!
Somebody push me?
* Because it seemed silly to chuck another $100 at keeping the dumbphone able to talk and text for another several months to a year when I could chuck $120 at Tracfone ($100 pay-as-you-go, $20 for a decent phone) and have a smartphone that is able to talk, text, and surf the Net for the next several months to a year, and because the money on the dumbphone pay-as-you-go plan is down to about six bucks and I would therefore have needed to chuck another $100 at the dumbphone account Real Soon Now. I don't use the talking or texting often enough to justify a $30/mo plan, never mind a more expensive plan, but I do need to have a phone capable of both, and since the smartphone has GPS I can geocache with it.
