Multiple people told me the thing that made my performance was the look of utter terror on my face! (This is actually legit given my character, but I was not trying to look afraid.)
I gota dozen nine roses and a vase to put them in! (From my parents, who neglected to remove the price tag and thus I know they only spent $3. Which perhaps explains why there were twelve stems, of which nine have flowers attached. There were two rose heads down in the plastic, though.)
