Jan. 27th, 2016 02:13 pm...why does Patreon not send out tax forms to people who earned less than $20K through Patreon in 2015? $20K is a substantial sum and about two orders of magnitude higher than my Patreon earnings—which I do have to report on my tax return, but how do I do that when I don't know what tax form Patreon would be sending me were they sending me a tax form?
Amazon and Smashwords send me tax forms for teeny amounts. Why doesn't Patreon?
(on that note, where the hell are my tax forms from Amazon and Smashwords?)

Jan. 27th, 2016 09:48 pmHey query. The divination thing of opening a book to a random page, or random-number-generated page, and using a line off that page as one's divination answer. How, mechanics-wise, would that work on a Kindle? (Or, y'know, not Kindle, but in-verse equivalent.) Scroll to a random location?
It'd be easier for my purposes to stick with divination through song lyrics, but there's this pesky thing called "copyright law", and afaik it's applied much more harshly to quotes of lines of lyrics than quotes of lines of novels...
