Open mics are back at the local indie bookstore! (Took some time for them to get settled enough in the new location to start them back up, I guess.) Now, do I want to call them up and ask if there's an open slot at Saturday's open mic?

*looks at calendar* I'm donating blood that day...so probably no, I don't want to, because I will be utterly miserable after donating...

gah need to write an introduction for myself for the open mic Saturday. don't want to filk The Mikado, because it doesn't work in first person. gah halp. (not sure if actually asking for halp.)

in unrelated news, cramps fucking suck, and I don't know if I'm going to work today because cramps fucking suck. probably I am going and then I'm going home, I don't know.
