Sekrit message to neotoma: Close? Who you kiddin'? I'm not going to the Christmas party some family friends are throwing Friday evening because I'd have to drive myself and they live an hour north and I have never driven more than half an hour at a stretch before. Two hours west over a bigass bridge ain't happening without bribery though a day away from family and mostly spent in the company of friendly folks might be enough bribe on its own.

A while back there was a post, and I'm fairly certain it was somewhere on Dreamwidth, cataloging someone's adventures in contacting companies to discuss accessibility fail that rendered the company's website/product/location/whatever unusable for this person. I recall one of the examples of fail being a restaurant website having the menu as an image instead of text.

Does anyone happen to have a link to this post?

*sporfle* I just got an email saying Sears is hiring. Presumably this is related to the last time I applied there. Note that I have been employed, and have submitted apps for no jobs bar better ones at this place of employment, for most of a year now.
