Things I have accomplished today:
* progress on the cross-stitch project
* made work lunches
* progress on the rainbow granny square
Things I have not accomplished today, but not for want of trying:
* outlining Viva La Vida
As I think I have complained everywhere but here: what usually stalls me out on a writing project is not knowing what happens next and not being able to figure it out on the fly. Therefore, outlines, yes? But attempting to outline apparently just means I stall in the outlining phase instead.
I have three different opening scenes in my head plus the one I typed up months ago (which needs revision if I'm keeping it), but that doesn't tell me what happens in the middle bits of this novel.
