Dear state senator for my district:

When you[r staffer] composed the questions for that survey I just took? Your Republican bias was really showing. Also, I kind of suspect that your mailing list skews Republican. So while I'm glad you admit that the survey is unscientific, I am concerned that when you say you're going to give it weight when considering how best to represent your constituents, you actually mean this and therefore those of your constituents who live in your segment of Redlandia but who are (like me) not in fact Republican are going to be ignored.

As usual.

Also, when I have to answer "Not sure" to a question I actually have a strong opinion on? It is a poorly phrased question!

okay so why am I having such a fucking sad over not having a game system capable of playing anything Legend of Zelda? I haven't played anything Zelda since I was nineteen, okay, and that was on a borrowed game system, I have never owned a game system unless we count 'desktop computer' under 'game system', I have not got the money for a game system now and it is so not on the priorities list (especially since I'd need several different game systems to play all the different versions, I'm sure), and I'm pretty sure no desktop can legally play any Zelda...

come on, self, get in gear, you owe your sister's bridal party five pendants and possibly matching earrings and you really ought to have them finished before the bachelorette party tonight...

my sister's bachelorette party was, through no fault of any of the party planners, hugely underwhelming. we actually went to Walmart after leaving the restaurant to get movies and ice cream, and also I told my sisters that I was having so much fun I'd rather be working.

(I have no plans of watching Bride Wars, though.)
