Hey, has anyone got book-canonical evidence of Hermione Granger's skin tone, other than her being "very brown" on returning from France in Prisoner of Azkaban? I can't remember.

...no, I'm not thinking of writing a HP AU and just casually noting that Hermione is black, why would you think that? >_> <_<

(except I'm also thinking of stealing borrowing elements from Dangerverse, and DV canon definitely has Hermione as white...)

GAAAAAH ARTIST STATEMENT. I have no idea how I grew over the course of the term, and no idea what poetic tendencies of mine I'm working against in revision. None.

I have to get this portfolio done TODAY because it's due TOMORROW and I guarantee you I will not have time to work on it during the wedding day itself.

Also I have zero useful comments on poem four. (My own fault for turning it in a week late, but still.)

Can I say "fuck it" and submit my poetry portfolio as is and then go watch Sailor Moon Crystal or read Harry Potter? Poem four final is verbatim poem four first because 0 revision comments, and artist's statement is blank bar heading, so it's not exactly an A+-worthy portfolio, but at this point I think I do not care. And parents will be home possibly any moment with more tasks for me to do.

Actually what I think I will do is go shower, since I went walking for half an hour (on the treadmill, not outside in the steam heat—mostly, because I walked to the clubhouse) and probably want to be all fresh and clean for the rehearsal dinner tonight. Which is semi-formal. Which I am explicitly informed means "nice dress". I am conserving my femme points for tomorrow with the gown and the makeup and the freaking high heels, damn it!*

But hey, at least I was exercising? I haven't really in months.

Thing is, everything she's worrying her head off about? Literally every single thing (bar one)? Nobody is going to notice but her.

(The bar one is, sister called this afternoon to inquire about purchasing of cords or ribbons for the handfasting part of the ceremony. We'd all thought sister and fiancé had already bought the cords.)
