Sep. 8th, 2015 09:09 pmTrying to figure out whether I want to talk to Comcast or Verizon about hooking up my Internet at the apartment. Does anyone have a strong opinion?
Comcast—at least for the first twelve months—offers 25Mbps for $30/mo. Verizon, same for $45/mo, but that price lasts two years. Internet only: I don't think I want cable, and my cell phone has been my primary phone for years, I don't see why that should change now. (Especially since I don't use the phone if I can possibly avoid it.) This seems to make the choice fairly obvious, but Comcast may be just that horrible. I don't have a point of comparison; the only high-speed that runs to this house is Comcast.
