holy shit y'all the Queers Destroy Science Fiction Kickstarter is doing fantabulous. LightspeedMag just tweeted "Fun facts: QDSF did 48% better than WDSF on day 1 & was doing 60% better by the end of day 2." How does one do better than the Women Destroy Science Fiction Kickstarter, unless one's like the Veronica Mars movie?

I'm just hoping they aren't tapping out the market for queer-and-trans-art-related Kickstarter money. 'Cause if they are, Translucent's in trouble. But if they're indicating massive untapped market, Translucent's gonna do just fine.

I hate putting this in free-market-capitalism terms, by the way, but I dunno how else to phrase it. The capitalist paradigm has hold of my head pretty good, for all the obvious reasons.

Well that was a very long day of accomplishing nothing whatsoever—

—oh fuck you brain I might not have done any homework or much cleaning but I did something big.

I think I'm crashing way early tonight. Like, now. Part severe undercaffeination, part undersleptness, part wore out by the NOISE NOISE NOISE NOISE at the restaurant, part a desire to actually get to UU services tomorrow.
