Soooo apparently there are people who think AFAB NB/GQ folks like myself having a presence in female-only spaces invalidates trans women's womanhood?

(1) ...well yeah, if these are spaces from which trans women are excluded. But the problem in that situation is hardly the inclusion of nonbinary and genderqueer folks in that space.

(2) Call it a "no men" space, let in trans women and AMAB NB/GQs, et voila. Or admit that by "female only" the organizers mean "AFAB only", et voila, but obviously this latter option is not exactly to be preferred.

(3) Fuck that identity-policing bullshit anyway.

You know, if Annabel Lee's name is still known many years after her death (and presuming it not to be in context of "oh, she's the girl who died, who that creepy old guy obsesses over", because that's just sad), probably she did something worth remembering. Which means she did not live "with no other thought than to love and be loved by" creepy guy.
